Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Safar mobile app, website and related services (the “Platform”), operated by Tritech Solutions (Private) Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

What the service is

Safar is a technology platform that connects people who need a ride (“riders”) with independent drivers who offer transport by car, bike or rickshaw (“drivers”). We do not own vehicles and do not employ drivers; transport is provided by the driver. We do not guarantee that a driver will be available at any particular time or place.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and codes to yourself — you are responsible for activity on your account.
  • The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • One person, one account. Accounts may not be sold, shared or transferred.
  • You can hold a rider profile and a driver profile on the same account and delete either one independently.

Fares, offers and payment

  • When booking, the rider offers a fare. Drivers may accept that fare or propose their own. When the rider accepts an offer, that amount becomes the fare for the trip.
  • Estimated times, distances and suggested fares are guides only and may vary with traffic, route and conditions.
  • Rides are currently paid in cash, directly to the driver, at the end of the trip. The rider must pay the full agreed fare for a completed trip, less any promotion shown in the app.
  • The driver confirms in the app that payment was received.
  • Report any fare dispute through Help in the app.

Promotions

We may offer promotions and promo codes. Each has its own conditions (such as eligibility, expiry, usage limits and budget), shown in the app. Promotions are funded by us, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be withdrawn if they are misused.

Cancellations

  • Riders may cancel a request or a matched ride before the trip starts, and are asked for a reason.
  • Drivers may cancel when necessary, for example for safety reasons, and are asked for a reason.
  • Frequent cancellations degrade the service for everyone and may lead to restrictions on your account.

Rider responsibilities

  • Be at the pickup point on time, and check the driver and vehicle match the details in the app before you get in.
  • Treat drivers and their vehicles with respect. You are responsible for damage you or your companions cause.
  • Do not ask a driver to break traffic laws, exceed the vehicle’s capacity, or carry illegal or dangerous items.

Driver terms

  • Approval. You may accept rides only after our team has reviewed and approved your identity, driving licence and vehicle documents. We may reject an application and will tell you why.
  • Documents. You must hold a valid licence for your vehicle type, keep your vehicle roadworthy and legally registered, and keep your documents current.
  • Independence. You are an independent service provider, not our employee or agent. You choose when to go online and which offers to make.
  • Trips. Start a trip only once the rider is with you, follow traffic laws, and complete trips you accept.
  • Commission. We charge a service commission on each completed trip. The amount for each trip is shown in your earnings history, and a change of rate never alters trips already completed.
  • Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.

Safety

The app includes safety tools such as location sharing and an emergency (SOS) button. These tools support, but do not replace, emergency services. In an emergency, call 15 (Police) or 1122 (Rescue) first. Report any safety concern through the app as soon as you can.

An SOS alert notifies our safety team so they can follow up. It is not an emergency dispatch service, and it depends on your phone having a working data connection — we cannot guarantee that an alert is received, or that anyone will respond within any particular time. Never rely on it in place of calling 15 or 1122.

Prohibited conduct

  • Harassment, discrimination, threats or violence of any kind.
  • Using the Platform while impaired by alcohol or drugs, or for any unlawful purpose.
  • Fraud — fake accounts, false documents, fake trips, or abusing promotions.
  • Arranging trips off the Platform with people you met through it.
  • Interfering with the Platform: scraping, reverse engineering, overloading or attempting to access data you are not authorised to see.
  • Misusing contact details, chat or calls for anything other than the trip.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, provides false information, receives repeated credible complaints, or puts others at risk. Where it is safe to do so we will tell you why. You may stop using the Platform at any time: closing a profile in the app deactivates it, and a separate request has our team erase your personal data — see Delete your data.

Liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of riders or drivers, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Please contact us first — most problems can be resolved quickly through support. Any dispute that cannot be resolved will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Peshawar.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will publish the new version here and change the “Last updated” date above; we may also ask you to accept the new version in the app.
